Chamber names contest winners

The judging is complete and the winners have been announced in this year’s Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce-sponsored lighting contest. In the business category, Down Home Country Cookin’ took first place honors while Heart of Texas Check Solutions came in second and the McCulloch County Tax Assessor/Collector’s office placed third. Warren Norton at 1208 South Mesquite won first place in the past winner’s category (only first place was awarded in this division). In the residential category, Dawn Stefano at Camp San Saba came in first; Roy and Michele Horn at 401 East Burns placed second; Carol Rowen on the Brownwood Hwy. placed third; and honorable mention went to 705 West 14th Street for the patriotic Santa display. The Chamber and the Brady Standard-Herald would like to encourage the local community to drive by the following homes that participated in the lighting contest.
