Lady Dawgs score only 32 pts. in loss

Two poor quarters lead to another loss for the Brady Lady Bulldogs, this time at Lago Vista last Tuesday night, 39-32. The Brady girls are now 2-7 on the season. “It was another tough loss for us,” Brady coach Ted Epley said. “We are getting better, however. We trailed after the first quarter, but battled back and took the lead, 21-14, at halftime.” The third period was also a bad one for the Lady Dawgs as Lago Vista out-scored them 10-2. “Our shots just quit dropping in the second half when we shot only 18 percent,” Epley said. The Brady team could only manage 12 points in the second half while their opponents were scoring 25. “We need to get everyone healthy and band together. Out of our nine games, we’ve had our entire bunch together a grand total of zero games. I believe when we get everyone back, we’ll be able to put it together,” the coach said. The Lady Dawgs are back in action this week at the Abilene Wylie tournament.
