BMS teachers honored at school assembly

The Brady Middle School Student Council hosted an assembly Monday and surprised the teaching staff with flowers and certificates of appreciation for their time and effort in helping achieve a recognized status as a school campus. Based upon results of the Texas Assessment of Academic Skills (TAAS) test, the rating designates BMS as a campus that has achieved certain criteria making it eligible for the status. Following a standing ovation by the student body that greeted the teachers, members of the student council presented each member of the teaching staff present with a rose and a certificate of appreciation. ‘These students want you to know that you have affected them in a positive way,’ said BMS principal Richard Holloway.
