4-Hers place at rabbit show

Two McCulloch County 4-Hers, Amanda Pellizzari and Wendee Carlson, recently participated in the State 4-H Rabbit Show and Extravaganza, Nov. 17 in Belton where over 690 rabbits were shown. Carlson had two first place finishes and one third with her Mini Rex breed and two Best of Variety. She also placed third in the fur division for all Mini Rex breeds. In the Holland Lop division, she had a second place finish. In the photo contest she placed first in the senior black and white photo and first in the colored photo. She received a grooming table for being the top over-all winner in the senior photo contest. She placed second in the Poster Contest and second in the Art Contest. Pellizzari had three first place finishes, one second place and one third place finish with her Mini Rex breed, and two Best of Variety and a Best Opposite. With her Holland Lops she had a second place finish while she also placed third in the rabbit dress-up contest with her rabbit dressed up like a turkey.
