CrimeStoppers and local individuals are still offering a large reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the caller who made a bomb threat against the Brady Independent School District on Oct. 1. The individual contacted several schools stating that a bomb was in one of them which led to the cancellation of school for the entire district. CrimeStoppers and local law enforcement apprehended the offender that lodged a second threat against the school district on Oct. 8. The caller informed staff at Brady High School that they should evacuate the building, causing school to be interrupted while police officers, assisted by school staff, searched the building. A call to CrimeStoppers led to the apprehension of the offender of the second threat, and in turn, a substantial reward was paid for information leading to the individual’s arrest.
