Warren Stiles, 35, of Colorado City and formerly of Brady, died Saturday, Oct. 13 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Brother Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Rochelle Cemetery. Born May 20, 1966 in Brady, he is the son of Richard and Jeanette (Jordan) Stiles. He was employed as a corrections officer with the Texas Department of Corrections. He was a Pentecostal, a member of the Sheriff’s Posse in Colorado City and an Army veteran of Desert Storm. Survivors include his parents, Richard and Jeanette Stiles of Rochelle; a son, Jonathan Stiles of Colorado City; a stepdaughter, Samantha Greene, of Colorado City’ a sister, Angela Cox and her husband, James, of Abilene; a brother, Douglas Stiles and his wife, Rebecca, of Lovington, N. Mex; two stepbrothers, Leland Stiles of Austin and Jimmy Stiles; a grandmother, Elva Jordan, of Brady; loving companion and mother of his children, Rose Stiles, of Colorado City; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Family visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 16 (tonight) from 6-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
