Earlene Jewel Pennington, 84, a homemaker, died Thursday, Sept. 20 in Azle. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 24 at Laurel land Memorial Chapel in Fort Worth. Burial followed in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. She was born June 5, 1917, in Eagan and was a member of Kingdom Hall in Azle. Survivors include her husband, Johnny R. Pennington; a daughter, Beverly and husband, Billy P. Taylor, of Azle; two sisters, Vera Barnes and Louise Honadel, both of Fort Worth; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces and friends, especially her childhood friends Lorene and Ed Brown of Tow.
