Warning sirens to be tested

The monthly test of Brady’s weather warning system will be conducted at 10 a. m. Thursday, Oct. 4. The outdoor sirens will be sounded, and the warning will be flashed on the TV cable system. The tests are made regularly to be sure the system works properly and to ensure that they will be available in case of severe weather or other serious problems. During a real emergency, residents should take cover and tune a battery-powered radio to KNEL for information. They should not tie up the phone system by dialing 911, except to seek help or report information.
