Ruth E. Wilson, 88 of Baytown and formerly of Brady, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12 in a nursing home in Baytown. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Jeff Powers officiating. Interment was at Memory Gardens Cemetery. She was born Aug. 22, 1912 in Mason. She was a resident of Baytown for 60 years, was owner of Wilson Trucking Company and was a member of the Methodist faith. She moved to Brady in 1924 with her parents and sister, Elsie Schroeder Irish, before moving to Baytown in 1942. In 1993 she moved back to Brady until March, 2000. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Barbara Wilson, a daughter and son-in-law, Nubby and Beverly Woodall; Bobby Cuthberson; grandchildren, Tex and Ruth Woodall, Jay and Toni Rosenbaum, Rusty and Cindy Wilson, Robert and Ronnie Morales, Ann and Jerry Buchann, Kacey Sammons, Andrew and Jean Chapman, Steve and Vicki Cuthberson; 19 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Sonny and Rita Findlay, Beverly and Malcolm Underwood, Ellie Underwood and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Wilson, her daughter, Beth Cuthberson, and a grandson, Jay Cuthberson.
