Addie Lee Norman, 80, of Eden died Monday, Aug. 6. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Eden Methodist Church under the direction of the Eden Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Eden Cemetery. Born Feb. 27, 1921, she was the daughter of H.E. and Elizabeth Wilson Williams. She married William (Billy) Norman on April 8, 1943. They had two children, Terry R. Norman of Brady and Steven M. Norman of Austin. She was a member of the Eden United Methodist Church. Addie Lee was a ranchwoman, living on and operating the family ranch until just two years prior to her death. Her father and grandfather both ranched in the Liveoak community southwest of Eden and she was proud of their ranching heritage. Her family was her greatest pride and she especially enjoyed gardening. She is survived by two sons, Terry Norman, and wife, Barbara, of Brady and Steven Norman and wife, Pauline; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and John Nichols of Eden; grandchildren, Tamra Jester of Hamilton, Kim Bragewitz of Tyler, Terry M. Norman and Jill Norman, both of College Station, Karen Fussell and husband, Ky Fussell of Del Valle and Billy Norman of Austin; and great-grandchildren, Alyssa Bragewitz, Leah Jester, Lesli Jester and Garrett Bragewitz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy; her parents and a grandson, Dano Norman.
