Hays, Webber united in holy matrimony

The celebration and blessing of marriage of Jeannette Denise Hays and Fredrick Bernard Webber was held on Saturday, July 7 at 7 p.m. at St. Emanuel Baptist Church in Hearne. The wedding was a lovely and joyful occasion. While members of the family were lighting candles, Joseph Bailey of Hearne sang “You Light Up My Life.” The wedding party marched to a song entitled “Forever” by Jaheim. The beautiful bride entered the ceremony on a song entitled “Here and Now” sung by Joseph Bailey. Thereafter, a solo was sung by Steve Savage of Hearne entitled “This is the Day.” The officiating minister Reverend James Crawford of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church of Hearne gave the greetings. Following the greetings, “The Lord’s Prayer” was sung by NaTasha Woodard of Bryan. Then the exchange of vows and blessings was given. Then after the exchange of rings was performed, a solo was sung by Demetria Allen of Hearne entitled “Flesh of My Flesh.” The bride and groom also presented a beautiful red rose to their beloved family members and parent for their hard work, love and dedication they have shown them through the years. The musician was Wanda Walton of Hearne. Parents of the bride are the late James and Mary Hays of Brady. Parents of the groom are Doris Webber and the late Harvey Edwards of hearne. The maid of honor was Gwendolyn Hays of Brady. The matron of honor was Diane Thompson of Brownwood. The junior bride was JorDaSha Atchison of Hearne. The bridesmaids were LaTasha Edwards, Cynthia Flores and Georgia Webber of Hearne; Voccia Calhoun, Tammy Gray and Tamisha McCoy of Bryan; Donna Rucker of San Antonio; Belinda Smith of Fort Worth and Nicole Thompson of Brownwood. The junior bridesmaids were LaKeviera Davis, LaVosha Mayes and RaShena Williams of Hearne. The flower girls were Re’Jana Ellison of Hearne and Briana Townsend of Brownwood. The best man was Steven Drennan of Hearne. The junior groom was Cey’Quan Williams of Hearne. Groomsmen were Doyle Allen, Christopher Edwards, Ray Edwards, Milton Johnson, Alex Webber and Galaspie Webber of Hearne; Jerry Alexandra of Brady; Eric Morgan of Hearne and Rondall Coleman of Bryan. The junior groomsmen were Channing Booker of Brady; Mychal Godbold and AnJwel Webber of Hearne. The ring bearer was Trenton Hays of Brady. The bell ringer was Jakevious Webber of Hearne. The ushers were Fondell Adams and Fledrick Lewis of Hearne. The hostesses were Lollie Adams, Debbie Curry, DeAnna Godbold and Korona Williams of Hearne. The wedding coordinators were Shelley Alexander of Stephenville, Yolanda Golden of Houston, Helen Drake and Jackie Drennan of Hearne. The reception was held in the Daryl Moody Center. The reception included a grand entrance by DJ (Jeannette and Fredrick’s dog) wearing a black tuxedo with a lilac and silver bouquet. Thereafter, the bride and groom were off to their honeymoon trip in Cancun, Mexico. The couple will reside in Hearne and plan to be very effective in the community.
