Ex-Bradyite’s spouse receives doctorate

Dr. Chris Nollette graduated with a Doctorate in Education from the University of Houston’s Curriculum and In-struction department. The specialty area is teaching and training the adult learner. Dr. Nollette and Dr. Hatch are the first paramedics in Texas to graduate with their doctorates and currently running EMS programs in our state. Dr. Nollette is employed with Galveston College and began his college career with Wharton County Junior College, building both EMS programs into degreed and nationally accredited programs. Dr. Nollette is one of two educators in the United States that sits on the national accreditation board that reviews college and university paramedic programs nationally through the Committee for the Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP). Dr. Nollette is married to Donna Nollette (formerly Donna Brawner of Brady) and they have four children: Ryan, Ashley, Austin, and Brady (named after our hometown). Dr. Nollette’s mother-in-law, Carol Cason, continues to reside in Brady.
