Wanda Fisher Cunningham, 80, of Brady died Tuesday, June 5 in Brady. Funeral services will be held Friday (today) at 10 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Wallace Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Born March 22, 1921, in Caddo, Okla., to Albert and Minnie (Griffith) Shaw, she married Jim Fisher on Jan. 22, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1982. She married Allen Cunningham on March 15, 1985. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was a housewife and a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Robert Hodnett of Devine, Jimmy Fisher of Brownwood, Elton Fisher and David Fisher, both of San Marcos; two daughters, Betty Lou Nelson of Abilene and Carolyn Wright of Brady; a sister-in-law, Birdy Shaw of Burnet; a brother-in-law, James Nelson, of Little Rock, Ark.; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
