Brady High graduates to receive diplomas

Eighty-two prospective 2001 graduates from Brady High School will receive diplomas during the graduation ceremonies on Friday, May 25 (tonight) at 8 p.m. in Bulldog Stadium. Frank Corder, senior class president, will provide the invocation on graduation night. Danielle Snodgrass will give the audience her salutatory speech, followed by Sarah Currie’s address as valedictorian for the Brady High School class of 2001. The top 10 seniors graduating this year include Currie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Currie; Snodgrass, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Snodgrass; Alexis Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darby Adams; Katie Hines, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Kucharski; Allison Allen, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James Allen; Rhett Behrens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Behrens; Zane Branden-berger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Brandenberger; Jennifer Morgan, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Morgan; Jeff Bowden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Bowden; and Aaron Browning, daughter of Mrs. Teresa Browning. BHS principal Preasley Cooper will present the top 10 seniors while head class sponsor Karen Andrews will announce the rest of the graduating seniors. School Board president Michael Schaffner and Brady ISD Supt. Max Gordon will present each senior with their diploma. The Famed Brady Bulldog Band will play the processional and recessional and will accompany the senior class in the school song. Angela Dodd, senior class vice president, will give the benediction. The Brady Independent School Board of Trustees consists of Schaffner, Jason Jacoby, Albert Pearson, Amie Lott, Victor Cruz, Tim Hyden and Andy McBee. Administrators include Gordon, superintendent; Cooper, BHS principal; Liesa Land and Richard Holloway, deans of students; and Lynn Munden and Fay Parks, counselors. Senior class sponsors are Karen Andrews, Nancy Cooper, Sawndra Matlock, Georgia Broz, Ronny McAnally, Hector Martinez, David McCarver and Royce Lewis.
