With its new location at 405 South Bridge Street, the Gardens Tea Room Antiques & Gifts shop will open its doors for business this Wednesday. In addition to antiques and gifts, the new shop will feature Mexican and traditional American meals. Gardens Tea Room will offer two selections each day for lunch and dinner and will also offer items such as Frito pie, salads and sandwiches. Business hours will be from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4-9 p.m. M.J. Rawlings, a native of Brady, is the owner of the new shop and relocated from Lockhart to Brady in July to raise her four daughters, Korinthia, Celesti, Bianca and Rebekah. Assisting with the kitchen detail will be Mrs. Rawlings’ mother, Olivia Reyes, who has more than 25 years experience in the food service industry.
