The Brady Rotary Club met Tuesday at the Caf’ at the Depot. Student Rotarian Jeff Bowden was present for his first visit. He is the son of Kim and Jesse Bowden of Brady. Clubs and organizations that he has participated in are Industrial Tech Club, Interact Club, FFA, Junior Class Car Committee, football, baseball, track, basketball, powerlifting, student council and National Honor Society. He held the offices of junior class president and treasurer of FFA. He is listed in Who’s Who for three years, made all A’s in school, attended the Lions Honor Banquet and the sports banquet, had no tardies, won a national merit in science, was English scholar, regional qualifier in powerlifting, received honorable mention and All State Academic honorable mention for football, and was beau of FFA. After graduation, he plans to attend Ohio State University to major in business and make a great living. Program chairman Brad Bowen introduced David Richardson, who is with Liz’s Window Washing. They do both residential and commercial using a special formula liquid. Window screens and storm windows are also cleaned and replaced. The $2 bill was won by Connie Locklear for knowing that the next president of Rotary International will be Richard King from California. The Rotary gift-of-the-month was won by Wadena McAlister, a Rotary letter opener. Program chairman for May 15 is Lee Coffman.
