Nine-year-old Shelby Flores, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Flores of Fort Worth, was selected the overall winner in the Miss Petite White Settlement Pageant held March 3. In her category, she won the talent, interview and modeling competition and was chosen “Miss Photogenic” for her age division. She performed a jazz routine to “Come on Over” by Christina Aguilera for the talent competition. She has been dancing since she was three-and-one-half years old and is an active member of the Bruce Lea Dance Factory. Grandparents are Mrs. Angelina Bara and the late Severo Bara and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Flores of Fort Worth. Jo Ann Garcia of Brady is Shelby’s aunt.
