Liberty Hill whips Dogs by 10-2 score

Brady’s Bulldogs dropped their seventh district baseball game of the season here Tuesday night, falling to Liberty Hill, 10-2. The Dogs are now 1-7 in league play. They have two more games in the season, at Ingram on Friday (tonight) and at home next Tuesday against Wimberley at 7 p.m. “We played well defensively,” Brady coach Nathan Headrick said of the Liberty Hill clash. “But we continue to have the same old problem. . .we can’t bunch our hits, and therefore can’t score many runs,” he added. Luke Price went 6 1/3 innings and absorbed the loss against the Panthers. He allowed 10 runs on nine hits while striking out three, walking six and hitting one batter. Blake Raybion finished up the game for Brady. The Bulldogs scored single runs in the third and fifth innings to close to 4-2, but the Liberty Hill nine plated four runs in the sixth and added another pair in the seventh inning. The Panthers outhit the Brady team, 10-6. Rhett Behrens and Raybion were the top hitters for the Dogs, each having two hits. Zane Brandenberger and Canuto Ledezma also had one hit each.
