Brady’s Lady Bulldogs’ softball team remains winless in district play after being defeated by Liberty Hill there last Friday, 15-0. The game was called after four innings due to the 10-run rule. The Lady Dogs are 0-3 in district and 3-8 overall. “Liberty Hill’s pitcher got the better half of this game,” Brady coach Micki Templeton said. “She threw a no-hitter, facing 14 batters while striking out nine Lady Dogs, issuing one walk, hitting a batter and getting three put out at first base.” The coach said that Kaleigh Adams, Stacy Lohn and Jana Partin were the trio of Brady batters who hit the ball. Liberty Hill scored four runs in the first inning, five in the second, four in the third and two in the fourth. Brady had 14 errors. Brooke Young pitched for Brady. Liberty Hill had seven hits, but errors contributed to most of their runs. “They did a great job of hitting the ball, and we did a very poor job of fielding it,” Templeton said. The Lady Dogs will be in Wimberley for their next outing Friday night.
