Foul weather system postpones aerobatics competition until May

The aerobatic competition scheduled to be held at Curtis Field this week has been postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions. According to Scott Poehlmann with the International Aerobatic Club (IAC), the regional weather conditions have made travel to Brady difficult for pilots who live east of Central Texas. A weather system with rain and clouds moving from west to east has made travel to Brady impossible for many of the contestants. The IAC told the Standard-Herald late Wednesday afternoon that the contest has been rescheduled for May 17-19.
