Clemis Bush Norman, 86, of Brownwood, died Wednesday, March 21 in Songbird Lodge in Brownwood. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 24 in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood, the Rev. Rick Justice, assisted by Rev. Chad Barnett, conducting. Burial was in Cox Cemetery. Born Sept. 2, 1914, in McCulloch County, she married Eugene Ellison on June 28, 1933, in Placid. After his death, she married T.C. Norman in 1976 in Lawton, Okla. A longtime resident of the area, she was a seamstress, retiring from Rock River Wool & Mill, Bogart Industries. She also was active in the GreenThumb organization. Mrs. Norman was a member of the Ave. D Baptist Church in Brown-wood and a member of the Golden Key Rebecka Lodge No. 26 in Brown-wood. Survivors include two granddaughters, Eva Bush and husband, Mickie, of Brownwood, and Deborah Ellison of Bangs; a grandson, Jerry Wayne Ellison and wife, Glenda, of Abilene; a sister, Melba Beagle of Vancouver, Wash.; four nephews; a niece, Linda Blauvelt of Rochelle; and two great-grandchildren.
