Boyd Lyckman, 83, of Brady, died Sunday, March 4 in San Antonio. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7 in Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady, the Rev. Sheldon Johnson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Brady, officiating. Services will be under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home in Brady. Born Dec. 16, 1917, in Brady, he was the son of John and Jennie Anderson Lyckman. He was a stock farmer and a lifetime resident of Brady. Mr. Lyckman was a disabled veteran of World War II. He was a Methodist. Survivors include three brothers, Otis Lyckman of Menard, Warren Lyckman of Hillsboro and Alvin Lyckman of Austin; two sisters, Jeanette Andrews of Junction and Marjorie Vowell of Taylorsville, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
