Rotary Spokes

The Brady Rotary Club met Tuesday noon at the Cafe at the Depot. Student Rotarian, Sarah Currie, was present for her second visit. She informed the members that she plans to attend McMurry University and major in Elementary Education. BHS students, Jacque Skaggs and Leah Vickers, reported on their recent trip to Piedras Negras, Mexico where they attended the Rotary International Student Congress. They stayed with a family in Piedras Negras. They learned about their government, immigration, factory employment and life-styles. They presented sponsor Lynn Munden and President Jim Ricks with commemorative T-shirts. Program Chairman Connie Locklear introduced Rotarian Mike Seidenberger who gave a classification talk. He is a graduate of Bangs High School, and received a BBA and an MBA from Angelo State University. Mike is currently the investment representative for Edward Jones Investments. The $2 bill was given to Mike Seidenberger for being the newest Rotarian. Program chairman for March 6 is Bill Mann.
