Making the necessary halftime adjustments, the Brady Lady Dog JV squad came back from a 26-18 deficit to win the game against the Liberty Hill Panthers, 47-42. The game opened with the Panthers coming out hot and scoring 15 points to Brady’s eight in the first quarter alone. The Panthers added another point to the spread in the second and led at intermission, 26-18. “We got outplayed in the first half, but we decided to put it together in the second half,” said coach Chris Wienecke. “It was like turning on a switch with about 6:20 left in the third period. We outscored them 29-16 in the second half. “Erica Hernandez put up her best effort of the season while Sanjuana Villalobos and Tallie Wright played a solid defensive game,” Wienecke continued. “Stacy Lohn led the way with 14 points and Krystal Borchert was right behind her with 13.” Other scorers were: Wright 6, Villalobos 6, Hernandez 5, Meagan Schaffner 1, Ashley Salinas 2.
