Gary and Diane Damuth of Damuth Taxidermy put the finishing touches on a full-sized mount of an African lion. The lion was one of many animals brought to the Brady business by a client in Alabama who went on an African safari. The Damuths and their staff have been working on the numerous mounts including a hyena and will be taking several of them to the Dallas Safari Show for a display. The Dallas Safari Show is one of the nation’s largest trade shows where guides, taxidermists, hunters and industry professionals meet to market their services. The Damuths used a large U-Haul truck to transport the animals which included a hippopotamus, hyena, zebra, crocodile, leopard, warthog and several other wild African species.
