Burton Leon Milburn, 76, of Brady died Sunday, Jan. 21 in San Angelo. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels, Rev. Sheldon Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Rest Haven Cemetery. Born Dec. 23, 1924, in the East Sweden Community of McCulloch County to Delmar Milburn and Eathel (Wade) Milburn, he was a farmer all of his life. He was a lifelong resident of the area who never married. He was a Christian and a Farm Bureau member. Survivors include a sister, Lavelle Frost and husband, James, of Midland; an uncle, Milton Wade of Brady; two aunts, Johnnie Estes of San Angelo and Easter Whitt of Durango, Colo.; two nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wyema Jean Lewis.
