Children’s Chorale performs in Kerrville

The one hundred voices of the Fredericksburg Children’s Chorale will be presenting a winter concert in Kerrville on Feb. 18 at the First United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. The Chorale is in its 16th season under the direction of Laurie Jenschke. Michele Stehling conducts the Primary Chorale and Brent Ault and Carey Thompson accompany the chorales. The three chorales comprised of young singers in the first through twelfth grade will perform a variety of songs and folk songs composed for treble choir. The Cantabile Chorale will perform Vivaldi’s “Beatus Vir” featuring soloists Callie Jenschke and Christian Stephens. The Fredericksburg Children’s Chorale has member-singers from a five county area. Ten of its members are from the Kerrville-Ingram area. There will be a free-will offering taken at the door.
