Casa Care links program helps daily operations

Casa Care of Brady is celebrating another successful year with the Community Chain project. Many local businesses and individuals joined together and sponsored the second annual event which benefits Casa Care. A total of $208.49 was raised this year and according to Casa Care director Cheryl Whitworth, “will be a tremendous help to our after school program.” Casa Care is funded solely through contributions, gifts, memorials and grants which in turn help children in grades one through three get a better start in life and a brighter future. The Community Chain project will continue to be a celebrated fund-raiser benefitting Casa Care each year. “Casa Care would like to thank Brady Standard-Herald, Commercial National Bank, Heart of Texas Funeral Home, Steffen’s Flowers, Higginbotham’s, Norman Motors, Young’s Jewlery, Evridge’s, McCulloch County Senior Citizens, Brady National Bank, First American Bank, A-1 Bow Kay, Brady Floral, KNEL, Lubke’s, DesiWren Gifts and Cafe at the Depot for their continued business support,” concluded Mrs. Whitworth.
