The Brady Rotary Club met Tuesday noon at the Cafe at the Depot. Brady Rotary Club officers for the year 2002 were elected: president-elect, Jeanagayle Behrens; secretary, Orlando Rubio. President Jim Ricks presented a Rotary pin to Bill Mann for his 35 years of perfect attendance. When he was absent from his “home” club he made-up at another Rotary within a week. Program chairman, Dayton Boren, introduced Bert Streigler, President of the McCulloch County Historical Museum Board. Bert reminded the members of the Wayne Spiller’s County History books that are still available. Also he gave a brief outline of a book by Ethel Neal Yeager entitled “A Soul Housed Up” that depicts country life in McCulloch County in the 30’s and 40’s. This book is available for $16. Bert also gave an update on repairs that have been made at the museum. The historical committee is designating homes to be recognized. The $2 bill was won by Shirley Henderson for knowing that Nevada was the last state to cast its electoral votes for George W. Bush, which put him over 270. There will be no meeting on Dec. 26. Program chairman for Jan. 3 is Brad Boren.
