Adams named Student Athlete of the Month

Alexis Adams, a senior at Brady High School, was recently selected as the Professional’s Choice Air Ride’ November Female Student Athlete of the Month by the National High School Rodeo Association. The Professional’s Choice Air Ride’ Athlete of the Month recognition program is designed to recognize exemplary National High School Rodeo Association members who are well-rounded students and are active in their communities. “Professional’s Choice is very honored to be involved with the outstanding young people of the National High School Rodeo Association as a national sponsor and to have the opportunity to make this valuable Athlete of the Month recognition program available for deserving young people across the U.S. and Canada like Alexis Adams,” explains Julie Walls, Marketing Manager for Professional’s Choice Equine Sports Medicine Products of Spring Valley, California. Monthly boy’s and girl’s winners will receive a new Professional’s Choice’s scientifically-tested Air Ride’ western show saddle pad and will be featured in the NHSRA’s Times, the official publication of the National High School Rodeo Association and on the NHSRA’s official web site at www.nhsra.org. From the monthly winners, both a boy’s and girl’s national winner for the year will be selected and awarded $1,000 scholarships each at the annual National High School Finals Rodeo slated for July 23-29 in Springfield, Illinois this summer. Monthly male and female Professional’s Choice Air Ride’ Athlete of the Month winners are selected based on academic and leadership qualities. These qualities include involvement in extracurricular activities, volunteerism, five and ten year goals, as well as other related accomplishments. In addition, each applicant is required to write an essay and submit a letter of recommendation.
