Charter panel continues job of reviewing

The committee in charge of reviewing the Brady City Charter is continuing their efforts to simplify and improve upon the basic blueprint by which the City is supposed to conduct its business. Entering into their third month of reviewing each and every word of the Charter, the committee will meet again on Dec. 21 for another two hour session in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The review committee meets every two weeks. “We hope to have reviewed everything and made a presentation to the Council by sometime in mid-February,” review board member Steve Black told the Standard-Herald on Wednesday. “We encourage people to submit suggestions or comments in writing to P.O. Box 501 to have them addressed by the committee.”
