Lady Dogs get Lago Vista win

The Brady Lady Bulldogs picked up another victory here Tuesday night when they defeated Lago Vista, 45-40. “It was a good win for us,” Brady coach Ted Epley said. “We finally won a close game. We executed well down the stretch.” He said the ladies are shooting better from outside although they still are missing a lot of open three-pointers. “We are slowly getting to where we want to be at this stage in the schedule,” Epley said. Kati Hines led the Brady team in scoring with 22 points. She was two of four in field goals, 4 of 14 from three-point range and 6 of 7 from the line while leading the team in rebounds with 6. “We will be at the Mason tournament this weekend, and we’ll open against Cedar Park at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday,” the coach said. The second round game will be against Harper or Mason at 6:45 p.m. Friday. “It sure would be nice to win a tournament,” he said.
