OFFENSES’The Brady Police Department experienced a relatively quiet week. Fifty-three calls were received with one Burglary reported at the South Ward cafeteria. Damage was done to the door of the Heart of Texas Community Center over the weekend, but no apparent entry was made. Officers responded to several family disturbance calls during the week. A hit and run accident which occurred at the 1100 block of South Bridge in front of The Steak House is currently under investigation. The driver of a vehicle which rear-ended a pickup ran from the scene on foot, abandoning the vehicle. ARRESTS’One arrest was made for public intoxication and resisting transportation; one for possession of marijuana; one for assault and family violence (Class A); and one for a warrant. ACCIDENTS’Three accidents occurred during the week: one on Nov. 21, 300 block of South Elm; Nov. 25, 1400 block of South Bridge; Nov. 26, 1100 block of South Bridge. CITATIONS’Twenty-six citations were issued for speeding; three for insurance violations; three for drivers license violations; two for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a vehicle; and one for inspection violation.
