College Night set at ASU, Nov. 28

Angelo State University will host a “Concho Valley College Night” Tuesday, Nov. 28, for area high school students and their parents to meet with representatives of some 50 colleges, universities and technical schools. The free program is scheduled for 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the C.J. Davidson Conference Center in the Houston Harte University Center on the ASU campus. College night will allow high school students to learn more about prospective universities they might attend upon graduation from high school. Representatives from different branches of the armed services will also be available to discuss opportunities in the military. High school counselors and teachers are also encouraged to attend. Information available during college night can help students narrow their college search and find the campus best suited to their academic and extracurricular needs. While university publications can provide general information about various colleges, students participating in college night can ask questions related to their academic interests and career ambitions. For additional information, contact Wendy Owen at 800-946-8627 or in San Angelo 942-2185, ext. 230.
