Members of the First Christian Church of Brady are gearing up for the annual Fall Bazaar scheduled this Saturday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church located on the corner of Second and Elm Streets. A lunch will be provided for $6 per plate and includes chicken spaghetti, salad, dessert, bread and a drink. Held annually the first weekend in November, the craft show and meal help raise funds for church activities. “One of the greatest benefits of an event such as this is the type of enjoyment it brings to the ladies who help make it possible,” said FCC minister John Stewart. “It also results in significant income, not only on the local level but in outreach programs worldwide.” “This event has been ongoing for 35 years now, and we like to think that with each year the event grows better and better,” he added. In addition to door prizes to be given away, items such as Christmas gifts, crafts, specialty canned goods, pies, cakes, candy, handmade Christmas ornaments and decorations, needle work, dolls and toys will be available for purchase. Admission to the bazaar is free, and the public is invited to attend.
