Leeola Boatright Davee, 65, of Brady died Friday, Oct. 13 at her residence in Brady. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady, Rev. Gaylon Morris officiating. Burial followed in Rest Haven Cemetery. Born Oct. 17, 1934, in San Angelo to Herbert Boatright and Addie White Boatright, she married Delmer Davee on March 7, 1952, in Ingram. She was a former convenience store clerk for Wes-T-Go and a former nurses aid at Shuffield Nursing Homes for 17 years. She had lived in the area for 40 years where she was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Brady. Survivors include a son, Koen L. Davee and wife, Kathy, of Richland Springs; three daughters, Shirley Willene Vaughn and husband, Edward, of Brady, Alta White and husband, Joe, of Menard and Anita Davee of Brady; a sister-in-law, Maxine Ake; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse on Feb. 10, 1989, and a brother.
