Mandi Kingston and Justin Hanson were united in holy matrimony June 3 at the Little Chapel In The Woods in Denton with Lisa Greenwood Wollcott officiating. Parents of the bride are Joe and Sharon Kingston of Weatherford. The groom’s parents are Clint and Paula Hanson of Plano. Grandmother of the bride is Bea Virdell of Brady. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a sleeveless satin gown with a beaded empire waistline and chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of purple and yellow roses. Attending as the maid of honor was Tara Mengel of Haltom City. Kara Johnson of Dallas, Myrium Jimenez of Dallas and Katie McAvoy of Charlotte, N.C., served as bridesmaids. The maid of honor and bridesmaids each word a yellow chiffon gown and carried a bouquet of silk flowers in shades of purple and yellow. James Baker of Austin attended as the best man while Brett Hanson of Flowermound, Kris Hanson of Denton and Eric Henefield of Shakopee Minn., all brothers of the groom, served as groomsmen. Ushers were brother of the bride, Shad Kingston of Weatherford and Mike Truitt of Denton. A reception was held following the ceremony at Raddison Hotel in Denton. The bride’s table included a three-tier basket-weave cream cheese cake topped with fresh flowers. The groom’s table included a three tier German chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberries. The tables were decorated with flower arrangements made by the bride, and music was provided by Baron Bacon Productions. The couple honeymooned at Playa Del Carmen. The bride is a graduate of the University of North Texas and is currently employed by Saginaw ISD as a teacher/coach. The groom is currently employed by Graybar Electric. A shower was given by Tara Mengel, Tonya Mengal and Melody Cormier in Halton City and a shower given by Kim Ames, friend of the bride was held in Krum. The couple currently resides in Bedford.
