Alton W. Caylor, 72, of Lake Palo Pinto died Monday, Sept. 4 at his home. Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 7 at 2 p.m. at Lone Camp Community Center in Lone Camp under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn. Burial will be Friday (today) at 2 p.m. at Marion Cemetery near Lohn with local arrangements by Heart of Texas Funeral Home. Born in Lohn to Alton and Lucille (Hill) Caylor on Nov. 26, 1925, he was a graduate of Lohn High School. He married Dorothy Caylor and she preceded him in death in 1990. He worked for American Manufacturing in Fort Worth as a machanist. After retiring, he moved to Milsap and then to DeLeon and then to Lake Palo Pinto. Survivors include a daughter, Becky Bruner, of Saginaw; two sons, Wayne Caylor of DeLeon and David Caylor of Lake Palo Pinto; two brothers, Lee Caylor of Taylor and John Caylor of Tyler; five granchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, and a sister, Joyce Hurd in 1990.
