Mike Sellers promoted to lieutenant in BPD

Brady Police Chief John Stewart announced Tuesday that officer Mike Sellers has been promoted and commissioned as lieutenant of the local police force. A peace officer since 1985, Lt. Sellers has served in Brady since 1993. Prior to his service in Brady, he was a member of the Big Spring police department and also the Tarrant County police department. Serving the Brady department as sergeant since December 1995, Sellers is the chief investigator of the department. He oversees the entire department and serves as a liaison between law enforcement offices, individual officers and the chief. He is assigned all major felonies and cases that involve serious criminal activity. Reporting directly to Chief Stewart, Sellers is also responsible for managing casework on all levels of the department to ensure that the accountability and integrity of each individual file is maintained.
