Glennon Wallace (Mac) McLe-more, 74, of Marble Falls died Monday, Aug. 14 . Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Gooch Cemetery in Mason. Born April 29, 1926, to John Wallace and Ellen (Jacobson) McLemore in Turkey, Tex., he was raised in the Rochelle area until joining the Navy where he served honorably during World War II. He married Peggy Self on Nov. 1, 1947, in Brady and moved to the San Francisco Bay area where they lived from 1952-1995. Mac owned and operated the Stadium Body Shop during that time until he retired to Marble Falls. Survivors include his wife, Peggy, of Marble Falls; two sons, Richard McLemore of Stockton, Calif., and Patrick McLemore and wife, LaZette, of Salida, Calif.; a daughter, Brenda Miller and husband, Rory, of Fremont, Calif.; a brother, Clifford McLemore of Roswell, N.Mex.; a sister, Eileen Weaver of Brady; and four grandchildren, Sabrina and Tiffany Miller and Zachary and Katie McLemore. Memorial contributions may be made to the Llano Hospice.
