Brady Police Department requests public assistance with local burglary

OFFENSES’Officers responded to 44 calls for service this week in addition to 17 calls requiring animal control. Several calls involved family violence assaults. Officers were in the classroom eight hours this week training in department policies and updates in reporting needs. Chief John Stewart was in San Angelo on Monday and Tuesday participating in interviews for the Concho Valley Law Enforcement Academy. ARRESTS’Two arrests were made this week for public intoxication; one warrant was issued for absence without leave from the United States Army; and one warrant was issued for theft. CITATIONS’Six citations were issued for speeding; one for unrestrained child; one for no seat belt; three for inspection violations; two for insurance violations and one for vehicle registration violation. DID YOU KNOW’Under recent changes in the State traffic laws, a person convicted of a first offense of parking in a space reserved for disabled persons is subject to a minimum fine of $250 and a maximum fine of $500.
