To the Editor, Oh, glory! It just makes me feel glad all over. Last January the city’s well at Brady Lake failed its radium test, along with the wells in town. Now six months later the Brady Lake well has made a miraculous recovery. According to a report in a paid advertisement in the Standard July 4, the Brady Lake well now “Meets Or Exceeds All Federal (EPA) Drinking Water Requirements.” All we have to do now is run a pipeline to the lake and take all of our water from that well! Isn’t that wonderful’ But it brings up a serious question: Just how reliable are those EPA tests’ Not very, I’d say. Bob Wilson Brady, Tex.
