The 2000 summer recreation 4-H camp will again be held at the Heart of Texas Baptist Encampment. Each year, the Adult Leader/Parent Associations in Concho, Coleman and McCulloch Counties sponsor the event for interested 4-Hers between the ages of 9-18 years old. The camp will run from 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 until 9 a.m. on Friday, June 30. Cost for the three-day/two-night camp is $25 per person. Participation is limited to bunk space, so parents and 4-Hers are encouraged to register by Friday, June 23. As in the past, the camp is designed for a lot of fun and games plus opportunities to meet other youth in the area. Anyone who is not currently active in 4-H who would like to attend the camp can stop by the Extension Office located at 114 W. Main to begin 4-H enrollment just in time to join in on the fun of the 2000 Summer 4-H Camp.
